Simply...Animal Kingdom...

...Règne Animal, Dyreriket, Tierwelt, животное царство, Eläinkunta, ζωικό βασίλειο, Životinjsko Carstvo, 动物界, Regno Animale, Reino Animal...

If you are a little bit tired of minimalism and simple clean lines (yes, I know it's utterly wearable but it can hardly be described as a trend to lift the spirits). So where to look? How about the Animal Kingdom, well, several designers have given us a playful treat by way of animals...and bugs.
Si estás un poco cansado del minimalismo y las líneas simples y limpias (sí, ya sé que es absolutamente usable pero difícilmente puede ser descrita como una tendencia para levantar el ánimo). Entonces, ¿A dónde buscar? ¿Que tal, en el reino animal, bueno, varios diseñadores nos han dado una divertida travesura a través de los animales ... y de los bichos!.

And yet this is not animal prints as we usually think of them, not leopard prints or bold zebra stripes, not patterns. These are animal faces, animal (or bugs) motifs.

Y sin embargo estos no son los estampados de animales en los que solemos pensar, no son estampados de leopardo o de cebra con rayas audaces, no son estampados. Estos son motivos con caras de animales, con animales (o con insectos!).

If we look at the recent history of the use of animal images or motifs in the industry, it is clear to see that our furry and feathered friends have often had a strong influence. For a start, animals have clearly had a big impact in specific logos for certain designers and high-street brands. Lacoste have their classic crocodile, Penguin have their yep, penguin, to name just two.
Si nos fijamos en la historia reciente, y en la utilización de imágenes de animales o motivos animales en la industria, es claro ver que nuestros amigos peludos y emplumados a menudo han tenido una fuerte influencia. Para empezar, los animales han tenido claramente un impacto grande en los logotipos específicos para ciertos diseñadores y marcas de alto rango. Lacoste tienen su clásico cocodrilo, Penguin tienen su sip, pingüino, por nombrar sólo dos.

On the high street, several brands are introducing an animalistic feel to their collections and featuring items with animal logos and motifs...
En la calle, varias marcas están introduciendo un toque animal a sus colecciones y presentando artículos con logos y motivos de animales...

...and range from small animal logos to repeated animal prints to large, chest-covering images.
...y van desde motivos y estampados de animales pequeños hasta animales repetidos más grandes, o directamente una gran imagen sobre el pecho.

Of course this is one of those runway trends easily (and basically instantly) adopted by the high street. And that means saturation. So don’t expect to be the only one rocking a cute fox t-shirt.

Por supuesto, esta es una de las tendencias de las pasarelas fácilmente (y básicamente instanstáneamente) adoptadas por la calle. Y eso quiere decir saturación. Así que no esperes ser el único acunando un lindo zorro en tu remera.

...or the only pair of "flat kittens" in the sidewalk...Meow!

A wild purse makes a mischievous statement, and a cute little cat lighten up a too serious outfit.

Un bolso salvaje es una afirmación traviesa, y un lindo gatito  aligera un atuendo demasiado serio.

But, if your attachment to minimalism is too strong to break from then bring the animals out to play in your accessories.
Pero, si su apego al minimalismo es demasiado fuerte como para romper con él, entonces, puedes poner a los animales a jugar en tus accesorios.

...a spider in your purse, or bees in your head!

Go ahead, roar into the new season and add some animal magic in your live.

So if you can’t resist a colorful owl of a really bright frog when you see one, trend or not, that’s all the reason you need to find a piece you truly love and snap it up.

And how about animals in your skin? Permanent or removable tattoos can be your way of answering the call of the wild, in a wild way...

Of course you can invest in something truly classic with animal motif, for example, this golden little jaguar have a certain timelessness, hehe!

Por supuesto que puedes invertir en algo verdaderamente clásico con motivo animal, por ejemplo, un pequeño jaguar dorado tiene una cierta atemporalidad, jeje!

Bugs and animals can be incorporated in everything from fashion to décor.
Los bichos y animales pueden ser incorporados en todo, desde la moda hasta la decoración.

But what do you guys out there think? Do you see yourself going all animalistic, or do you feel that this look is a little too wild?

Perhaps you feel smaller logos work better than bold, large images or vice-versa.
