Classy Dulce de Leche...

Guess what? It's July already! Which means it's my birthday month so I guess it's only fair if I write this month's posts about all my favorite stuff.

¿Saben qué? Estamos en Julio, que es el mes de mi cumpleaños, así que creo que es justo que los posts de este mes sean sobre mis cosas favoritas.

I've got a sweet tooth, and a particular one, too. I love Milk Caramel the most! And I'm pretty certain I'd die without toffee. Chocolate is not my thing, though - I'd pick Caramel over Chocolate anytime... 

Soy muuuy golosa, y muy particular.¡Amo el Dulce de Leche sobre todos los dulces! Y estoy casi segura que moriría sin caramelos de leche. El chocolate no es lo mío, siempre voy a preferir Dulce de Leche... 

Caramel Toffee

I've always had some serious problems with limits when we're referring to "dulce de leche". This milk caramel comes in tons of shades, from tan to maroon, so every time I choose to wear something of those colors I find myself thinking about dulce de leche! Yup, I'm THAT obsessed!

Siempre tengo problemas con los límites cuando se trata de este manjar. El Dulce de Leche viene en muchas tonalidades, desde el tostado hasta el marrón, así que cada vez que uso uno de esos tonos ¡me encuentro pensando en Dulce de Leche!. Sip, ¡estoy así de obsesionada!

For as long as I can remember I've always loved neutrals, give me black, white, beige, caramel ANYTHING and I am a happy camper.  Some may think neutrals are boring, but I beg to differ!

Desde que tengo memoria, siempre me gustaron los neutros, denme CUALQUIER COSA negra, blanca, beige o caramelo y estoy en lo mío. Algunos pueden pensar que los neutros son aburridos, ¡pero yo me atrevo a diferir!

One of my favorite color combinations is black and caramel.  Caramel is such a rich color and paired with black, it becomes powerful, elegant, and fashionable.

Una de mis combos favoritos es negro y caramelo. El color del dulce de leche se vuelve rico y poderoso emparejado con el negro, y luce siempre elegante y a la moda.

It's a natural color. We're so used to seeing it around us (in wooden furniture, paneling, flooring or a fantastic piano) that it doesn't register as a "real" color most of the time.

Es además un color natural. Estamos tan acostumbrados a verlo alrededor nuestro (en muebles de madera, paneles, pisos o en un fantástico piano) que casi nunca lo registramos como a un "verdadero" color.

I can spend hours obsessing over the black + white + caramel color combination, like this minimalistic facade, or that room above:

rich caramel furniture + black + white accents = sheer timeless perfection.

Puedo pasarme horas ideando ejemplos de combinaciones de negro + blanco + caramelo, como esta fachada minimalista, o la habitación de arriba: ricos muebles color Dulce de Leche + acentos negros y blancos = perfección intemporal.

Caramel color comes in dark or even light shades. This color is incredibly easy to wear and happens to look great on all skin and hair tones.

El color dulce de leche puede ser oscuro o claro. Es un color increíblemente fácil de usar y ademés luce genial sobre todos los tonos de piel y de cabello.

Black, white and caramel color combination again. These three colors are the image of modern, stylish yet warm and cozy interiors. Just feels this way!

If you'd rather try the trend in small doses, just amp up a simple black trouser with a few caramel-colored accessories, like leather bracelets and light caramel flats...

What's so easy about this color block combination is that it's very simple to do.  Just take a black sweater and pair it with a caramel jacket or a caramel dress...wear all black and add caramel shoes and a caramel bag..wear all caramel and add black accessories, etc.  And the best thing is...this trend will last season after season after season because it's so elegant yet chic!!!

Lo más fácil acerca de combinar este color en bloques es que es simple de hacer. Ponte un suéter negro y encima una chaqueta caramelo, o usa un vestido color Dulce de Leche...o vístete de negro y agrega zapatos y un bolso caramelo, o vístete en color caramelo y agrega accesorios negros...este estilo durará estación tras estación porque es elegante ¡¡¡y muy chic!!!

Ok, now you know I'm a totally freak about Milk Caramel, and that by sweet "tooth", I mean "teeth", all of them!!!

Bueno, ahora saben que estoy totalmente trastornada con el Dulce de Leche, y que cuando me refiero a golosa, quiero ¡¡¡"gulosa"!!!

I was hoping that after staring at these images of Dulce de Leche for two hours, I'd lose my craving altogether. Unfortunately the opposite has occurred and my salivary glands are in overdrive so if you need me, I'll be up to my elbows in smooth, creamy Caramel bliss!!!

Tenía la esperanza que luego de contemplar durante dos horas estas imágenes sobre el Dulce de Leche, perdería de paso, mi anhelo. Desafortunadamente ocurrió lo opuesto y mis glándulas salivales están en sobremarcha, así que si me necesitan, estaré hasta los codos en un suave y cremoso pote Dulce de Leche...

Ahh!...that feels better. I'm starting to feel like me again.
